What a team they make.

As the League of Ireland prepares to kick off its new season this Friday, Bohemian Football Club have added a new superstar to their ranks – the godfather of reggae himself, Bob Marley.

The vibrant image of the Jamaican legend was unveiled on Tuesday, taking pride of place alongside Thin Lizzy icon Phil Lynott on the gates of Dalymount Park.

It marks a glorious return of sorts to Dalymount for Marley, having played a historic gig there in July of 1980.

The mural was designed and painted by Dublin native Niall O’Lochlainn and paid for by the Gypsies Supporters Trust.
