JOE reader Kevin Flanagan sent us in the pic, and told us the following about it:
"I'm travelling throughout the Balkans right now and was in Kosovo recently. I walked into a bar called Miqt Pub, it's not an Irish bar, and to my shock, there was a Dublin bus stop for the 46A in the corner.
"How it got here, why it's here, is a mystery that needs solving.
"Kosovo shares borders with Albania, Serbia, and Macedonia. It's status as an independent country is contested by Serbia (and a few others) since they declared a Republic at the end of The Homeland War (1998-1999).
"I can't imagine a scenario that would involve a bus stop from Dublin being removed, transported to Kosovo, and put on display in a random bar. Who this this? Why? How?
"I waited two hours for the bus to Dun Laoghaire and it never came. Typical Dublin bus, haha!"
Cheers to Kevin Flanagan for sending this our way. Got a story for JOE? Fill out our online form here.Explore more on these topics:
