Dublin restaurant launches Christmas Pizza and we are VERY intrigued

Christmas Pizza

Pizza meets Christmas.

NKD Pizza in Rathgar has designed a pizza that you could leave out for Santa rather than the traditional milk/Guinness/carrots.

In preparation for the holidays, they’ve released a limited edition pizza that features toppings like roast chicken, mozzarella, smoked bacon, Ballymaloe cranberry sauce and sage and onion stuffing.

And we are absolutely ready to try it.

Christmas Pizza

The Christmas pizza is also attached to a noble cause.

NKD Pizza has partnered with Dublin based charity, Feed Our Homeless as their official charity partner. As part of this partnership, customers who opt for the NKD Pizza Buy One Give One to Charity offer which is only available Monday to Wednesday, will have their free pizza donated to Feed Our Homeless.

NKD has committed to donating a minimum of 10 free pizzas each week throughout the festive season.

Speaking on the announcement Founder, Tony Walsh and Co-Founder Natasha Morgan, from Feed Our Homeless said: “Feed Our Homeless is delighted to announce our new partnership with NKD Pizza. The past few weeks we’ve had to increase the amount of food we bring out on a nightly basis in order to cater for those using our services.

“Even with the amount of support we have already, we still find it challenging to keep food on the table for more than an hour and a half due to the large number of service users presenting. We encourage everyone to try and support this initiative of a Buy One Give One to Charity as every extra pizza bought will go towards a meal for our homeless.”

The Christmas pizza will be available starting €8 for a 7-inch pizza.
