Dublin named the most vegan-friendly city in the world
And it's not just because Guinness is vegan.
"Holiday specialists" Hayes & Jarvis analysed data from the 50 most-visited cities in the world and found that Dublin came out on top as the most vegan-friendly city of them all.
While mining the data, Hayes & Jarvis found that more than one-in-five local restaurants in Dublin offer vegan-friendly options.
Here's the top 10 in full.
- Dublin, Ireland (21.2%)
- Phuket, Thailand (20.1%)
- Amsterdam, The Netherlands (19.8%)
- London, United Kingdom (19%)
- Venice, Italy (18.6%)
- Florence, Italy (18.4%)
- Orlando, USA (17.3%)
- Athens, Greece (17.2%)
- New York City, USA (16.4%)

However, Dublin does not even make the top 10 when it comes to the "best quality" vegan food in the world. For that, surveyors checked "which cities have the highest proportion of a particular restaurant category and the highest proportion of 4.5- to 5-star restaurants of a particular restaurant category."
This data was collected from online review website TripAdvisor.
