Dublin pub offers €100 bar tab as a reward for the return of a beloved item from their jacks

Make the urinal great again.

Dublin pub

Whoever stole this is taking the piss.

And whoever stole it no doubt did so just after taking a piss because it is with sadness that we have to report that the Donald Trump tribute in the urinal in the Adelphi pub in Dublin has been stolen.

In case you haven’t a Scooby what we’re talking about, Adelphi, located on Middle Abbey Street in Dublin, installed the tribute in the urinal during the US presidential election campaign last year, giving male punters a target if they wanted to make sure there was nothing wrong with their aim on trips to the little boys room.

We’re going to skip past our desire to ask a few uncomfortable questions about this particular theft – for starters, who in their right mind would want to steal something that has been urinated on by thousands of people? How did they even do it? – and get straight to the point in an effort to try and ensure its immediate return.

The folks from Adelphi have been in touch to ask us to spread the word that a beer tab worth €100 is on offer for the person that returns Donald to the pub and to a bathroom that is looking quite bare without its presence.

If you know of any information that might be valuable to the pub in its efforts to have it returned, you can find contact details on their website and Facebook page.

The sooner Donald is back where he belongs – in the toilet – the better.
