Dublin pub is giving away free drinks if Trump mentions “Mexico ” or “the wall” at his inauguration

Paul Moore

We reckon that this will be very popular.

Donald Trump’s inauguration is looming ever closer and while the Bruce Springsteen cover band that were set to perform at the Garden State Inaugural Ball in Washington have cancelled their performance out of “respect and gratitude for Bruce”, the final preparations are being made.

Hillary Clinton will definitely need a stiff drink after the event because the former Secretary of State will be present at Trump’s inauguration in Washington alongside her husband, former president Bill Clinton.

Trump’s recent press conference has once again shown that he’s likely to say anything during his inauguration, and while we’re expecting the upcoming event to be less fiery than his recent confrontation with the media, you never know with the incoming President of the United States.

Making Mexico pay for the construction of his infamous wall is never far from Trump’s thoughts, but the Adelphi pub in Dublin has taken a novel approach to those moments when Trump “preaches hate.”

On a post to their Facebook page, they’ve promised that “This Friday for Trump’s inauguration, here at Adelphi, we will give everyone a free drink if he mentions “Mexico ” or “the wall”.We feel that we need to give people something to laugh at if /when he preaches hate, like building a wall and deporting Mexicans.”

The popular pub has consistently taken an anti-Trump stance, you might remember their urinals and posters from a few months ago, and we’re certain that this offer is going to be very popular.

Take a look.
