Naked Breakfast will be an Irish radio first.

Dublin’s 98FM has announced an Irish radio first – a 100% live show with no pre-records, no delay button, no safety net… just LIVE music, LIVE guests, a LIVE audience, LIVE jingles and even LIVE ads!

A host of exciting guests from the world of music and comedy will also be LIVE on The Naked Breakfast, which will broadcast from Vicar Street in front of 400 people on the morning of Friday 28th November.

98FM breakfast show hosts Ray Foley and JP Gilbourne will broadcast their show ENTIRELY live at 8am with special guests and music performances.

NAKED GUYS-v2

Jingles will be performed by Paddy Courtney, JOE’s Eric Lalor & Irish band Key West and actors will voice-over the ads live on the spot. 98FM are even flying in internationally-renowned blockbuster movie voice over artist Dave Foxx, who will be performing live station voice overs.

The Coronas

Not only that, but The Coronas will be the resident house band on the morning playing songs from their new album ‘The Long Way’.

Speaking about the upcoming show, presenter Ray Foley said, “We are delighted 98FM have given us the opportunity to this. This is radio in its most raw form and we will have a blast while doing it.

“We can assure the audience that there is no actual ‘nudity’ involved… by naked we mean stripped down and totally live. We are being liberated from the comfort zone of our breakfast studio and being unleashed onto a live crowd – bring it on!”

Thanks for clearing that up Ray!
