Foodies rejoice, the DublinTown food and drink festival returns this month

The DublinTown food and drink festival is back and bigger and better than ever.

Foodies living in the capital and beyond are in for a treat with the return of the DublinTown food and drink festival later this month.

DublinTown, the voice of 2,500 businesses in the city centre, say that the festival will be bigger and better than ever before, with exclusive events and experiences over seven days to appeal to everyone from the casual foodie to the seasoned food critic.

From 14-20 October, chefs, restaurateurs, bartenders and baristas working in all sorts of establishments – from small independent restaurants to five-star hotels – will be treating attendees to a whole host of gastronomic experiences.

All budgets will be catered for and there’ll be plenty of free activities over the course of the week too.

Commenting at the launch of the 2019 festival, CEO of DublinTown Richard Guiney said: “This year the DublinTown Food and Drink Festival is back, even bigger and better than last year. The 2019 gastronomic festival sees the city light up for a week of delicious culinary delights from Monday 14 October to Sunday 20 October with masterclasses, experiences and events taking place right throughout the week.

“The festival will see an array of Dublin city restaurants, bars and cafes create exciting food experiences to treat the senses and showcase Dublin’s thriving and diverse cuisine that is right on our doorstep. With ticket prices to suit all budgets, the festival is the perfect opportunity to sample the vibrant gastronomy that Dublin city has to offer.”
