The shops in which Ireland’s Euromillions Plus winners tickets were sold have been revealed

The West’s awake.

The Euromillions draw on Friday 16 February had an incredible jackpot of over €150 million, which … unfortunately, nobody won.

However, the Euromillions Plus draw was won by two lucky Irish players, each of them nabbing €500,000 each.

The numbers for the Euromillions Plus draw were 12, 17, 28, 34 and 40.

Meanwhile, the winning numbers for the main draw were: 10, 12, 23, 32, 50, and the lucky stars were 4 and 10.

The lucky punters will split the pot – and it turns out that they’re not too far from one another.

The Lotto website confirmed earlier in the week that both of the winning tickets were purchased in the West of the country, and they can now officially announce that the two tickets were purchased in Clarke’s SuperValu in Barna Village Centre, Co Galway and Garryduff Stores, Pound Road in Castlebar, Co Mayo.

The National Lottery’s social media team took to Twitter to announce the good news.

They wrote:

“Last nights EuroMillions Top Plus prize winning shops that sold the tickets were Clarke’s SuperValu in Barna village Centre Co.Galway and Garryduff Stores, pound road in Castlebar, Co.Mayo! Congrats to the lucky winners of the €500,000 prizes.”

There’ll be na’er a cow milked in Connaught tonight!
