Would you prefer an adjective or a noun?
Keeping the world of dictionaries and word definitions ‘fresh’ is hard work but Oxford English Dictionary (OED) are giving it a good shot and have put together a fun new feature that tells you the original date of words.
On their blog the OED have made an easy to use wheel that revolves when you pick a decade and a year within that decade to show you what word was born along with you and what that word means.
It’s a nice way to spend a few minutes of your life, give it a try here.
