Saying these five phrases means you are more likely to be a possible psychopath

Funny thing is, we’ve all said at least one of these.

Why are we so obsessed with finding out what makes someone a psychopath?

Apparently, listening to certain songs makes you one. Don’t yawn when others are yawning around you? You’re a psychopath.

Do you like a certain type of drink? Psychopath. Or maybe you have a job that is linked to accidentally employing higher percentages of psychopaths than others?

You could call it mad (quite literally) but people love to know what traits make someone a psychopath or not and MindBodyGreen has found that saying these five phrases could mean that you are one.

Author, Jackson MacKenzie, has written a book about dealing with psychopaths so she must know a thing or two on the subject.

“You overanalyse everything.”

MacKenzie writes:

“Psychopaths aim to make you doubt your intuition by constantly planting hints to make you feel anxious and then blaming you for having that anxiety.”

“I hate drama.”

Drama, drama, drama.

MacKenzie says that they will make you feel guilty for bringing up the issue because they hate drama but yet “you’ll soon come to discover there’s more drama surrounding them than anyone you’ve ever known.”

“You misunderstood me.”

MacKenzie says:

“This is called gaslighting – blatantly doing or saying something, and then blaming the other party for misinterpreting it (or denying that it even took place).”

“You’re so sensitive.”

They will push you to your breaking point and then when you finally crack, they will tease you for being sensitive… “psychopaths manufacture emotions in others – it’s what they do.”

“You’re crazy/bipolar/jealous/bitter/in love with me.”

For some reason, they have the tendency to think that everyone has a crush on them or they will point out their traits in you. MacKenzie’s tip for handling this weird relationship whether it be friendly, intimate or otherwise.

“Get out.”
