Hackett Menswear have given us a peek at their Autumn Winter collection, and we like what we saw
As much as we might not want to admit it just yet, the summer is on the way out and it's time to start stocking up the wardrobe for the oncoming sarcastic autumn and winter months.
With that in mind, we got a look at
Hackett's latest collection for the upcoming season, and it's got plenty of great choices to spruce up your wardrobe and have you dapper in no time.
One of the many things that caught our eye was the range of accessories, in particular bags, scarves, ties and belts, that can help to transform a pretty standard outfit to something totally different. The role of a good belt is underplayed, but it does serve as both a natural focal point to draw the eye and a nice divider for your outfit, which can separate top half from bottom half. It's also time we upgraded our man bag game, and Hackett have some great options there too.
When it comes to neck wear, we've been eyeing up a bow tie recently to make ourselves extra dapper, although there's also a great range of ties. Throwing a well fitting jumper over a shirt and tie is a sure fire way to look pretty smart, and not overly dressed up at the same time. A scarf will not only be needed in the winter, but it can also look stylish at the same time.
A pea coat is a great winter jacket that's both comfortable and stylish, and while there are many varieties knocking about, Hackett's simplicity here is key, making a classic look. We also really, really want the aviator jacket from the first look in the gallery. With the rest of their looks, the inspiration ranges from academic and preppy student to racing driver and military looks, each taking a modern twist on a classic look.
