Placing just behind JOE, obviously, Darren Kennedy is one of Ireland’s most stylish men, so Louis Copeland got him all suited and booted in a range of his own gear, teaming up with Ireland’s best known tailor for a fantastic look this season.

The capsule collection consists of six suits and two coats, all of which are classic pieces, that certainly have a timeless air to them. The colours and shades are perfect for Autumn/Winter this year, incorporating burgundy and shades of blue, as well as large check patterns and classic grey.

For his part, Darren said on his website that it had been a goal of his this year to get involved in designing somewhere along the line, and that we can expect “a great cut, top quality fabrics, and an impeccable fit for a contemporary silhouette” from his collaboration with Louis.

The collection does indeed have a contemporary twist on the classic gentleman’s look, with the three piece featuring heavily and the camel coat looks like something you would find hanging on the coat hook in Don Draper’s office. What makes the capsule stand out is the high attention to detail and quality fabrics used by Copeland and Kennedy, which Darren has added his own personal touches and details to, from pocket squares to tie clips, making the look complete.

We must admit that, once again, we’ve been struck with equal doses of sartorial envy and three-piece suit lust, which we might have to solve by heading to Louis Copeland and getting a slick suit ourselves. Meanwhile, JOE awaits the email from Louis about our collaboration. We presume there’s something wrong with our inbox, so we’ll just hit refresh a few more times…
