The eagerly anticipated Peugeot RCZ R 270bhp, the most powerful road-going car that Peugeot has ever sold, has just been unleashed here in Ireland… and it looks AMAZING.

Guaranteeing a thrilling ride for anyone who gets behind the wheel, the new Peugeot range-topping two-seater sports coupe represents a considerable boost in power in comparison to the previous RCZ 200bhp model.

The new RCZ R also sets a new record in its category achieving the most brake horsepower from a 1.6 litre engine in a production car. To harness this power and deliver an unparalleled driving experience, engineers at Peugeot Sport in Paris have reworked almost every component behind the car’s iconic lines.

Inspired by the Peugeot RCZ Racing Cup track car and riding 10mm lower to the ground than the RCZ, the result is a sports coupé with some serious acceleration.

The RCZ R will sprint from 0-100kph in just 5.9 seconds. Maximum power is at 6,000rpm and maximum torque of 330Nm is at 1,900rpm to 5,500rpm. Even with this incredible performance, it meets the stringent Euro 6 emissions standard, emitting just 145g/km CO2.

Available in four colours – Moroccan Red, Nera Black, Mercury Grey and Opal White – order books for the stunning new Peugeot RCZ R are now open in Peugeot Dealerships across Ireland.
