Gallery: Welcome the warmer weather in style with these perfect Spring jackets

Spring is here, so let's get some slick new gear. That rhymes and you know it rhymes.

Spring is here, so let’s get some slick new gear. That rhymes and you know it rhymes.

The warm weather means it’s time to change fabrics and trade drab Winter colours for a brighter Spring pallete from Littlewoods Ireland. Not only does it suit the warmer weather well, but it also makes us feel that bit more summery, and even maybe a bit Mediterranean. Sure that’s fierce continental and all and anyways.

However, you still want to look sharp, so picking the right blazer to match with anything from jeans to chinos is going to be important. For example, going for a pattern is a good way to grab attention, like this Ben Sherman Camden fit check jacket (€289) that is still a shade of grey, but the checks subtly introduce colours to your outfit. Match it with more classic and simple pieces, since this is a statement piece by itself.

You can also begin to introduce brighter colours with different textures, lighter shades and a variety of materials. This denim-look jacket from Goodsouls (€104) is again a good way to dip your toe into the water to see if this suits you, while this linen jacket from Goodsouls (€82) is similarly a fashion-forward step without being too daring, bringing both a lighter, breezier colour and a Summery fabric to the fore.

If you really want to grab attention, then there are plenty of options, including this option from Joe Browns (€99), which is an interesting shade and a unique pattern, while an Oxford slim fit from Goodsouls (€99) in coral is definitely a Spring look that will work well with jeans and brogues, or a pair of plain shorts if the weather gets better.

A blazer is the perfect way to introduce colour in an eye-catching way that will make sure you have the perfect Spring/Summer look sorted. Throw on a pair of shades, and you can be sure that you’re looking fresh from head to toe.
