Some good press for the Gardaí.

Taylor Swift put on two amazing shows in Croke Park on Friday and Saturday last week as fans flocked to GAA HQ to hear the American singer.

Swift took to Instagram to thank the fans who attended her gigs in the stadium.

Following the gig on Friday night she wrote: “I can’t even explain how it felt looking at the crowd tonight at Croke Park in Dublin, I love you so much and I can’t believe we get to play for you again tomorrow night!!”

It looks like a lot of those attending will have positive reviews of the concert as well, but not all of them will be for Swift’s performance, some of them will be for the conduct of the Gardaí for this kind gesture.

Gavin Coventry spotted an incident at the gig, which shows two Gardaí being very kind to a young fella during the concert.

He wrote: “I am at Taylor Swift concert with Abbie and two friends and there is a little lad with special needs to the front who wanted to move from his seat to the standing area. He couldn’t as he didn’t have a ticket and he is with his mam. He was determined to and security wouldn’t let him.

“One of the on duty guards [sic] came over and gave his Hi Vis body armour and hat to the little fella and brought him out front for about 10 minutes. 10 out of 10 for the boys in blue, once again showing they are always looking after the public.”

Have a look at the video below, and all we can say is, fair play to the two members of An Garda Síochána.

In another video below by Jamie Harrington, a Garda can be seen dancing with a member of the public. All in all, the Garda were in great form this past weekend, just have a look at this dancing Garda in Waterford.

Cheers to Gavin Coventry, Jamie Harrington and Steve Kelly for sending this our way. Got a story for JOE? Hit us up on Facebook or Twitter, or mail [email protected].
