I’m dreaming of a (flat) white Christmas…

Driving home on Christmas Eve is one of the best feelings in the world, but it’s important to keep yourself awake. Particularly if the roads are in poor condition, coffee stops are a must on any long journey.

Coffee is also a must at just about any other time of day, but that’s another matter entirely…

Free coffee

Circle K, Ireland’s largest fuel and convenience retailer, is offering free ’Simply Great Coffee’ with any purchase on Christmas Eve. Not only will the free coffee keep drivers awake it’s also in recognition of the vital work done by the Irish Emergency Services.

They will also be providing free hot drinks on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve to employees of An Garda Síochána, Fire Service, RNLI, Coastguard and the National Health Service. This offer will be available in Circle K outlets nationwide, and valid photographic emergency services ID will be required at points of purchase.

Judy Glover, Market Director at Circle K Ireland said; “We are delighted to announce that we are offering our hugely popular ’Simply Great Coffee’ range to customers for free on Christmas Eve, as a thank you to them for their support throughout the year.”

“I’m also proud to reveal that we are recognising the continued dedication of the Emergency Services to the Irish public by offering all members of the services free hot drinks on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. This offer is Circle K’s little way of giving something back to the people who work tirelessly to protect Ireland’s communities daily.”

With 2,300 employees, the Circle K retail network is made up of over 420 stations across the island of Ireland. Of these stations, over 160 are owned by Circle K and over 260 are owned by independent retail partners. The company also operates a large commercial fuels business, with over 20 depots and two owned terminals across the country. Follow Circle K Ireland on Twitter and Facebook for more.
