You’re back at college a couple of months and you’ve realised that, even though your circle of friends is pretty awesome, it may be missing one member. Not to worry, JOE is here to help you choose your latest crewmate.
Here is a helpful guide to the available candidates…
The party-goer
This guy/girl is always the first to suggest hitting the town and partying the night away. They’re never down and are always the first on the dance floor. A great pal to add to the arsenal.
Downside: They’re always blaming it on the boogie.
The good listener
We all need someone we can have a good moan to and this person will not judge you when you do. You can be the Jay to this Silent Bob and talk about ‘all those cool things your cat has done’ until your heart is content.
Downside: Not exactly a laugh a minute from this character.
The joker
Every good crew has a clown and if you don’t know who your group’s one is, then it is either you, or ye are a woefully dull group. We digress, but this person plays practical jokes at almost every party they go to.
Downside: Try talking to him about world affairs and you’ll most likely get a blank stare.
The advice-giver
This is the friend that will always be there when the others have gone home. Deep and meaningful conversations are the order of the day with them and they’re not afraid to let you know when you’re being a bit of a fool.
Downside: Self-righteous at times, but overall, not a bad sort.
The one that ticks all the boxes
Of course we’re over-simplifying things and very few people fit into a single bracket (if you do, JOE reckons you should probably broaden your interests). So if you want to add to your friends, we suggest you grab a person who fits into almost all of the above brackets.
It will make getting your crewmates together for some nice Captain Morgan & cola all the more fun.
