GIF: Extraordinary mid-air collision as skydiver is hit by plane and survives
As amazing as it seems, everyone walked away from this one ok
There are plenty of risks associated with skydiving, like the risk that your parachute will open and it will be a big pile of cutlery inside instead or something, but getting hit by the plane that you're jumping out of is a new one on us.
We presume that it was also a new experience for John S. Frost, the skydiver concerned who was hit by the Cessna that he had jumped out of mere seconds before he landed safely on the ground. The plane got caught in the strings of the parachute, tossing Frost up in the air as he attempted to make it back to terra firma, and as a result the plane also loses control, nosediving into the ground.

Photographer Tim Telford got the snaps of the amazing event, and someone made a GIF of it, which gives a pretty good idea of just how scary it must have been. Thankfully, everyone walked away without being seriously injured, which is good news for seeing as it could have gone terribly wrong so easily.
