Ireland’s biggest gin event is coming to Dublin this April

You can’t spell Great Time without a G and a T.

Taking place on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 April, the Gin Experience Dublin will be taking place in the iconic Printworks at Dublin Castle, where you can immerse yourself in all things gin (not literally, we assume), sourced both locally and abroad.

You can sip and sample gins of every kind, and check out the individual food pairings that will be unique for that gin.

There are also masterclasses for those looking to expand their knowledge on gins, cocktails makers from some of Ireland’s most esteemed bars and restaurants, or if you’re looking for something a little different, some of Ireland’s leading gin ambassadors will give you a foraging lesson!

The experiences will be taking place on the Friday from 6pm to 9.30pm, or on the Saturday from 1pm to 4.30pm or 5.30pm to 9pm.

Tickets are €40, with a minimum of €10 per ticket donated to Debra Ireland.

The team behind the mini-gin festival (Gini festival?) had the following to say:

“We want to give Ireland’s gin fans, whether they be the complete novice or those working in the industry, a chance to meet the producers behind their favourite gins and to find new favourites too.

“We are collaborating with some of Ireland’s most passionate producers and ambassadors to provide a full and authentic experience. With masterclasses, sampling and much more to be announced, we look forward to welcoming you to Gin Experience Dublin!”

Tickets for the event must be bought in advance (over 18’s only), and can be purchased right here.
