GoPro dropped from plane captures incredible footage... and then lands in a manky pigpen

Pigs? Flying? Disappointingly no flying pigs though...

YouTuber Mia Munselle found a GoPro in his back yard recently and, when he watched the eight-month old footage back, he got an amazing surprise. The recording revealed that the durable camera had been dropped from a skydiving plane passing overhead, flew hundreds of feet back to the Earth below, and landed smack bang wallop in a big pile of pig ploop.

The coolest thing? The fact that the camera begins to spin so fast that it syncs up with the recording frame rate on the way down, allowing the viewer to see exactly where it's about to land.

The most disgusting thing? The fact that one fame-hungry pig comes over to hog the camera with its big dirty tongue and we can pretty much see what it had for dinner.

What this fantastic footage does allow us to do though is wheel out one of JOE's favourite Dad jokes. What does a pig wear around its neck? A pigsty.

Get it? A pigsty. Like a pig's tie. It's a pig that wears a t... never mind. Just watch the video:
