You'd be hard-pushed to find an old pub in Ireland that isn't adorned with Guinness memorabilia from down through the decades.
What you might not know, however, is that some of these old Guinness trinkets might just be as valuable as buried treasure.
Old and rare Guinness items can fetch quite a pretty penny at auction - and the remains of the late Guinness memorabilia collector Steve Smith's collection is expected to be sold for roughly £90,000 this weekend.

According to Guinness collectible expert David Hughes, the key to getting money for your Guinness merch is age, rarity and condition. As long as what you've got is old, some way hard to find and in good nick then you should be able to make a few bob.
So if your granny has any old ceramic toucans gathering dust in the attic, it might be time to let her know she could be raking in the cash.
