What’s the name of that song by Snow Patrol and The 1975 again?
According to the wonders of the Internet, it seems that today, July 7 2014, is actually Chocolate Day. Woohoo! So happy Chocolate Day to all of you out there in JOE-land. To celebrate this sweet, delicious day we have decided to take a look at some of our favourite chocolate moments in TV and Films.
Chunk meets Sloth – The Goonies
A firm favourite at JOE towers because it has taught us so many childhood lessons. For example, if you find yourself in the following situation, 1) kidnapped by a family of convicts, 2) chained up in a disgusting cellar, 3) locked away with a loveable man-child, it’s always a good idea to have a chocolate bar on hand. Just don’t throw it at someone’s head. There is something really endearing… and absolutely terrifying about this scene.

Sister Assumpta – Father Ted
You’re saying ‘that’ line to yourself right now, aren’t you?
Land of Chocolate – The Simpsons
One of JOE’s frequent daydreams…

Forrest Gump
So Sally Field thinks that “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get”. Well Sally, JOE wonders why do they put those little cards in the box with pictures of all the chocolates. You know exactly what you’re buying.
Chef – South Park
Could be the most inappropriate Christmas single ever which is odd, because it’s very unlike the brilliant Matt Stone and Trey Parker to be controversial.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
It would be pretty poor of JOE if we overlooked a film with chocolate as its title, location and raison d’etre. The boat ride through the river of chocolate in the original film is still one of the strangest things we have seen though.
Uter – The Simpsons
JOE could watch this video on repeat for hours.

Joey – Friends
This is why Joey is an absolute hero. The look on his face is priceless.

Chief Wiggum – The Simpsons
Timeless advice.

Nick Frost and Simon Pegg – The Cornetto Trilogy
Everyone’s favourite chocolatey ice cream/hangover cure/ vague movie trilogy.

So who’s hungry right now? You’ll have to excuse JOE, we’re off to stuff our faces.
