HEAD TO HEAD: vs in the Virgin Media Night Run challenge

Carl Kinsella

So much more than just a race.

The clock is slowly ticking down towards 9.30pm on Sunday 22 May, when the mighty beasts of will dust down the running shoes that have been in our wardrobes since three Christmases ago and take on our sisters from in the first ever Virgin Media Night Run in Dublin.

The rivalry between and our own site has reached boiling point, and together we’ve decided that there is only one way to settle it – hitting the track and proving that #TeamJOE will be the first team to stumble, bumble and wheeze its sweaty, red-faced way across the finishing line.

Five of JOE’s finest and fittest (which is not actually saying all that much) runners will aim to finish Virgin Media Ireland’s 10km run before the women of – earning an eternity of office bragging rights and a lifetime of glory.

Anyone at all is welcome to participate in the Virgin Media Night Run, and can sign up right here. We recommend dragging a friend along too – after all, a little competition never hurt anybody. Worth noting, though, that the cut-off time for the race is 80 minutes – a cut-off that we expect to push to its very limits.
