Heavy fog is causing even more disruption for Irish people that plan on flying this morning

Check with your airlines

Check with your airlines.

It seems like the fog is refusing to lift in the UK as the weather continues to wreak havoc with air passengers travel plans.

Three flights that were due to depart this morning from Dublin Airport for London have been already cancelled with the same fate falling on four flights in the opposite direction.

If you plan on flying today,  the respective authorities are encouraging you to contact your airline to check the status of your flight.

Heathrow airport cancelled 129 flight yesterday and they’re expecting more of the same again this morning

Met Eireann say that they expect the fog to be cleared in most areas around Ireland by later this morning but as mentioned previously, it’s best to check with your airline.

There’s further bad news if you plan on travelling to London because an expected rail strike is set to take place.

Ryanair passengers are encouraged to tweet any queries directly to this account.
