Bank Holidays

Start making plans for those long weekends.

Dear 2019, you’ve very been good to the majority of us but sadly, we’re dumping you.

Hello 2020 and those sexy days off from work that you’re now offering us!

Ok, we had plenty of highlights this year – movies, music, and TV providing quite a fair few – but as 2020 approaches, it’s very likely that quiet a lot of people will be grateful for having their New Year’s Day off work.

If you are working though on 1 January, we feel your pain.

On a more optimistic note, New Year’s Day is just one of the nine Bank Holidays that Irish workers will have over the next 12 months.

As always, we can rely on on the usual Bank Holidays which are set in stone every year: New Year’s Day, St Patrick’s Day, Christmas Day and St Stephen’s Day.

FYI, St. Patrick’s Day is on a Tuesday in 2020, so keep that in mind if you plan on making some plans.

If you are already thinking about what you can get up to on your long weekends next year, here is a full list of all the Bank Holidays for 2020.
