Here’s the story of a stylish 11-year-old kid, who has started his own bow tie business

Get ready to feel terribly inadequate, as we tell you about the 11-year-old boy who’s got his own business selling bow ties…

When we were 11-years-old, we think we might have had a paper round, delivering a few free local papers in the doors in our neighbourhood (we can’t really remember).

One thing we definitely didn’t have was our own bow-tie business because we weren’t, as Moziah Bridges describes himself, a “young, dapper man”. Dapper he certainly is, as evidenced by his pics and his products on his website, Mo’s Bows, where he sells all his gear, or else on his Etsy page, where he also sells his products.

Mo told Esquire that he started up the business after he couldn’t find bow ties that he liked for a young man of his stylish needs, and since then, he’s made close to $30,000 (around €22,500) in the last two years (that’s right, he started when he was just nine, for crying out loud) and has even made a charity bow-tie with all the proceeds going to sending underprivileged kids to summer camp.

All in all, Mo is quite the overachiever, and we assume that before long we’ll all be wearing Mo’s Bows, or maybe even Mo’s Shirts and Ties too. On that note, he has said that he plans on adding neck ties and pocket squares as further accessories for men, and he also hopes to start making a whole range of slick gear for kids who want to be as stylish as Mo. World domination is on the list after that, we’re sure.
