Remember going to see all The Dark Knight movies and wanting to be Batman? Remember saying to your buddies that it’d be class if you owned the Batmobile? We were joking when we said it… but a man in China has made it a reality.
Using two-tonnes of metal and shoe polish, yes, shoe polish, Li Weilei and four other mechanics in Shanghai have managed to make a replica that looks so similar to the real thing.
The lads are experienced metal-workers and have been involved in prop design and we have to hand it to them, they managed to pull it all together for €9,800.
There is one hitch though… It doesn’t have an engine, it’s just a model.
I know, we were a bit disappointed too but you have to hand it to them, it is an incredible piece of engineering…
