A house in Wexford have been named as Ireland’s most Christmassy home 2017

Rudi Kinsella

Congratulations to the winners.

The Fitzpatrick family in Wexford have won the title of Ireland’s most Christmassy home 2017, and they absolutely deserve it. They just about edged the victory over last year’s winner, Tony Noonan from Templeglantine in Limerick.

The Fitzpatricks received more than 3,475 votes since Monday, and you can see why. Have a look at it for yourself.

The Grinch himself would be whistling Winter Wonderland if he walked past this house. Think about the amount of time that the family must have put into decorating the house in such a way.

Not only did the house win the coveted title of the most Christmassy home in Ireland, but Energia is making a donation of €3,000 to a charity of Tony Fitzpatrick’s charity of choice, Wexford Homecare Hospice.

The runner-up was unlucky too, because the Limerick house is bloody fantastic as well.

If you haven’t decorated your house yet, take some inspiration from these folks here, but be prepared to piss off your neighbours in the process.

Let’s hope they’re feeling festive.
