Kit-Kat, Coca-Cola and IKEA were some of the first to respond.
A simple post of Tumblr from a 21-year-old trying to decide the colour of her friend’s mother’s dress has become the biggest internet sensation of 2015 so far.
“Is this dress white and gold, or blue and black?” wrote Caitlin McNeill on swiked.tumblr.com. “Me and my friends can’t agree and we are freaking the f*** out.”
It wasn’t long before some of the biggest brands in the world were hopping on board, and this collection will show the power of something going massively viral.
