Ah here lads, we’re all for saving cash, but this is a bit much
A recent survey has shown that us lads really don’t like buying underwear. Now, like most guys, we’re not out there buying them every two weeks or anything, but we’ll at least do the odd clean out when we get the inevitable Christmas gift of a few pairs of boxers on December 25th.
It seems that we might be in the minority there however, as the average time that men hand on to their underwear is a rather upsetting seven years, according to the results of a survey from KSDK.com. That’s right, seven years.
Now we too will hold on to that one emergency pair that everyone has for the day when the rest are in the wash, you know the ones with holes in the key areas that have seen the most action, but even we may draw the line some stage before the seven year mark.
That wasn’t the only less than savoury finding from the results, as around 22% of men also say that they don’t change their underwear every day, which means that the aul “sure they smell grand” measure is being much more widely used than we thought.
