Who would you take on a Cadbury Creme Egg hunt?
One of the best things about this time of year is the return of the iconic Cadbury Creme Egg. Light a light at the end of the long tunnel that is the month of January, it’s what keeps up going.
Especially after most of us have scraped through the month, having a bit of extra cash on the hip would be ideal.
If there is a bit of chocolate involved as well, we certainly won’t be complaining. In fact, we would totally understand if you spent the entire €2,000 on chocolate.
The Creme Egg Hunting Society Gathering
To celebrate the return of the mighty egg, The Creme Egg Hunting Society Gathering will be taking place on Saturday, 23 February in a country house in Rathfarnham. Once you’ve picked your three friends to make a team of four egg hunters (we prefer to call them egg poachers), you’ll face a series of challenges on the Hunter’s Trail, testing your physical and mental abilities.
If you’re a fan of those gooey chocolate eggs, you’ll be right at home with this exclusive society. They have an action-packed day of fun in store for their egg hunters, as well as the prize of €2,000 for the Creme of the crop.
All that activity is sure to make you hungry, so there will also be an “egg-stravagent” menu on the day. You can expect everything from Creme Egg Brownies, Creme Egg Toastie, Creme Egg Donuts and Creme Egg kebabs for you to crack into.
Following the feast, the winning team will be selected from a draw of those who completed the Hunter’s Trail, and they’ll take home the €2,000! There will be three Hunting Society sessions throughout the day and all Hunters must be over 16 years of age.
Tickets for The Creme Egg Hunting Society Gathering are as rare as a Creme Egg-laying hen’s teeth, but we will be giving away some over the next week or two. We’ll have more on that later, but keep an eye out on our website and social media over the next while.
Better again, there will be another online competition held on our website for you to win more free stuff. To celebrate the return of the ultra-rare white chocolate Cadbury Creme Egg (you can earn up to €10,000 by finding them in shops), we’ll be hiding them across our website for digital egg hunters to find.
