Remember the story we brought you earlier this month which featured a video of a kid casually driving a €200,000 Ferrari F430? Well, the kid’s dad has been arrested.

When we first saw the video of the kids in the Ferrari we thought for a split second that there might have been some CGI-wizardry going on, simply because we couldn’t believe someone would be irresponsible enough to let their kid drive a supercar.

Well, now we know for sure there wasn’t anything dodgy going on, apart from the fact a 9-year-old kid was driving a supercar while his dad recorded it on video. Check it out below.

Crazy, right? Thankfully, the law has prevailed.

According to the Times of India, the video caused uproar in the country and sparked “widespread outrage”, which led to police arresting the boy’s father, Mohammed Nisham.

Mr Nisham was charged with encouraging underage driving and allowing an unlicensed minor to drive the vehicle.

There’s no word yet as to what his punishment will be, but we’re sure it will make him think twice before letting his kid anywhere near the Ferrari again.

As for the kid, we don’t think he’ll be too bothered about never driving the Ferrari again, because according to the video’s description on YouTube, he is used to driving a rake of other high end cars…

“He’s a pretty confident nd careful driver, used to driving most of my cars… even my Lamborghini, Bentley coupe, Carrera turbo etc (sic)”
