The boxes were based around a recent survey in which it was found that Tayto Cheese and Onion crisps are the most missed food item for Irish people living abroad, followed by Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate, Barry's Tea, Ballymaloe Relish and McDonnell's Curry Sauce.
They also found a few odd priorities, including the fact that 85% of the respondents miss Ballymaloe Relish more than their in-laws, 58% would visit Penneys if they were flown to Ireland for one day and 56% said they would happily spend it just having said a Tayto sandwich with a cup of Barry's Tea
Meanwhile, 29% would call an ex for a 15 minute "clear the air" chat just in order to have a box of their favourite Irish food delivered to them abroad, which sounds like an extremely elaborate storyline from an Irish remake of Curb Your Enthusiasm, so we'll allow that to play out.
Speaking about these two new box launches, Mark Loftus, The Paddy Box Founder, said: "We're really excited to continue with our mission of spreading grá, one box at a time.
"Since we launched The Paddy Box in November, the response has been incredible. We have taken customer feedback on board by further extending our range. St. Patrick’s Day and Easter are major, nostalgia filled holidays in the Irish calendar so The Paddy's Day Box and The Easter Box were something we knew Irish living abroad would love. We can't wait to start sending them around the world."
Pre-packed boxes can be ordered via the official website with prices ranging from €49.95 and go up to €59.95. The team hand pack each gift box, input personal notes and ‘ship with Grá’ anywhere in the world.Explore more on these topics:
