Presented by Dion Fanning, the weekly show will feature stripped-back, honest conversations with some of the biggest names in Irish entertainment, sport, politics and media. Fanning will also speak to notable international figures on some of the most important issues affecting Ireland today.
The first episode, which you can listen and subscribe here, features one of Hollywood’s fastest-rising stars, Dubliner Barry Keoghan, in his most in-depth and wide-ranging interview to date.
Since grabbing Ireland’s attention with his scene-stealing performance in Love/Hate in 2013, Barry has skyrocketed to international fame, starring in major award-winning films including Dunkirk, Black 47 and The Killing Of A Sacred Deer and, in the first episode of Ireland Unfiltered, Barry speaks movingly about his time in foster homes, the loss of his mother, the bond he has with his brother and his determination to be an actor.
