‘Ireland’s most controversial student night’ is returning to a nightclub in Donegal this week

So controversial, in fact, it’s even featured on TV.

Considering that it’s still fairly early in the first semester of the year, students don’t necessarily need much persuasion to hit the town and enjoy themselves in college towns throughout the country.

Even the slightest encouragement from a pub or nightclub is likely to draw in the punters, so with that in mind, a large gathering can be expected at ‘Ireland’s most controversial student night’ this Wednesday.

By now, especially if you’re from or have attended college in Donegal, you’re probably aware of the ‘Shag a Ginger’ night in Pulse Nightclub in Letterkenny.

Featuring DJ Ginger Nuts on the decks, a hairdressing team on hand to apply ginger hair dye to whoever wants it, free condoms for those keen on taking the theme of the night literally and with free entry for gingers before midnight, the annual promotion has become so famous that it warranted a mention on Alan Carr’s Chatty Man a couple of years’ back.

For those of you want to see what all the fuss is about, it’s on again in Pulse Nightclub in Letterkenny this Wednesday, October 11. For more information, check out Pulse Nightclub on Facebook.
