Irish Coffee Day is happening really soon, and it is all for a very good cause

Rory Cashin

Movember isn’t just an excuse to grow some weird facial hair.

Irish Coffee Day is set to take place on Friday 17 November, and the folks behind the day are asking for people to get involved, all in aid of the Movember Foundation Ireland.

They’re looking for people to host an Irish Coffee get together in their place of work on the day, and for donations to go towards the Movember organisation, which raises vitally needed funds for men’s health.

Additionally, they’re looking for bars or restaurants in Ireland to get involved too, with the hope that some of the proceeds of every Irish Coffee sold on November 17 going towards the charity.

To help get the ball rolling, the organisers of the event even teamed with The Bartender’s Project to show you how to make the ultimate Irish Coffee.

Great Irish Beverages, the people putting the charity event in place, had this to say about the cause they’re hoping to raise the money for:

‘Men are facing a health crisis that isn’t being talked about. They are dying too young and before their time. Movember are taking action and they need our help. That’s why Great Irish Beverages are working with them once again this year for Irish Coffee Day on November 17th.’
