This coming Sunday, March 2, the lads at Galway City Karting will be hosting their 3rd birthday ‘karty party’ and they’re inviting everyone along for the fun and festivities.
Galway’s only indoor karting arena, Galway City Karting, is turning three this Sunday and to mark the occasion they will be having a ‘karty party’ at their home in the Liosban Industrial Estate. Sounds like good craic to us…
The celebrations kick off at 12-noon and everyone is invited. So whether you’re thinking of heading down with a few of the lads or with the missus and kids, you can rest easy knowing that this Sunday’s activities are well and truly sorted.
Galway City Karting has established itself as a top visitor attraction in Galway and it’s the ideal venue for a Stag/Hen party as well as children’s birthday parties and it’s the place to be on Tuesday and Thursday when they run their ‘Two for one’ nights.
This weekend’s fun kicks off at 12pm on Sunday with a thrilling stunt show by top Stunt Rider, Galway’s Mattie Griffin (pictured above). This show will include a huge variety of stunts from the slow moving technical to fast mind blowing tricks. Mattie will perform three live shows throughout the party at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm, so make sure you don’t miss it.
There will also be goodie bags full of treats and surprises for the younger racers and the Galway City Karting ‘Beat the Fastest Lap’ competition will be running throughout the day.
If you can beat the fastest lap time (which currently stands at 18.910 seconds) you will win a year’s FREE karting! Now that sounds pretty epic, right?
Speaking about the upcoming party, Eoin Carroll MD of Galway City Karting, said: “We are having an open invitation ‘karty party’ and would like to invite all customers both old and new to help us celebrate. Come down to our 20,000 square foot track and see what Galway City Karting has to offer whilst also checking out the skill of Mattie Griffin’s stunt show”.
