They say never meet your heroes, but one Irish guy wasn’t disappointed after meeting Hulk Hogan at the weekend.
Hogan, along with thousands of wrestling fans, was in Orlando at the weekend for Wrestlemania 33, which featured the return of the Hardy Boyz, a marriage proposal and a farewell to the Undertaker, one of the greatest of them all.

Amongst those in attendance on Sunday night was Francie O’Reilly from Clare, who got to meet his childhood hero, Hulk Hogan, before the big event on Saturday.
It was the second consecutive year Francie has gone to the biggest event in the wrestling calendar.
Francie, we’re told by his girlfriend Mary, is a huge wrestling fan and has had a poster of the man known as Mr. America on his bedroom wall since he was a little fella.
Hulk signed a poster for Francie and engaged in some small talk about the weather in Orlando, with Francie telling him that it was “lashing rain” when he left Dublin in the morning and that he felt like he was “going to melt” in the Orlando heat.
Hogan couldn’t have been more of a gentleman, posing for a picture with Francie and telling him to “have a good one, brother”; the only way it could have gone better for Francie is if Hulk had torn off his t-shirt like the old days.
What a man.
