Well, tonight that dream will become a big reality to someone in the north of the country as the Irish Lotto was won on Wednesday night.
One extremely happy person holds the winning ticket with all six numbers on it and has collected a cool €6,409,326, something which they have to share with no one else.
As well as the big win, 13 people matched five numbers and collected €2,440 each which isn't quite the jackpot but is still not bad for a Wednesday.
The main Lotto draw the numbers were 7, 16, 18, 20, 24 and 37. The bonus was 13.
In the Lotto Plus one draw, nobody won the top prize of €500,000 but 15 people matched five of the numbers that came out of the drum to win themselves €500 each.
The numbers for that draw were 1, 8, 13, 32, 43 and 44. The bonus was 23.
In the second Lotto Plus draw, nobody collected the jackpot of €250,000 but one person did manage to get five numbers and the bonus to get themselves €2,500.
The Lotto Plus 2 numbers were 3, 10, 35, 40, 41 and 45. The bonus was 37.
