The winning pubs in Ireland and abroad revealed at the Irish Pubs Global awards

Irish pubs from all over the world were honoured at a ceremony in the Mansion House on Tuesday night.

Scholars Lounge in Rome took home the award for the 2017 Global Irish pub of the year at the annual awards ceremony in the Mansion House in Dublin on Tuesday night. Pubs in Ireland and all over the world received awards in a variety of categories, including gongs for best food, whiskey, cocktail, sporting and entertainment experiences. Amongst the other winners on the night were Slattery's in Dublin for Irish pub of the year, Waxy O'Connor’s in London for best Irish pub in the UK, Irish Times in Victoria for best Irish pub in North America and McGettigan’s in Jumeirah Lakes Towers in Dubai for the best Irish pub in the rest of the world.
