Have you always wanted to see a real life Quidditch game in person? Well, now’s your chance.
The Irish Quidditch World Cup is set to take place in Trinity College in Dublin. The winner of the tournament will qualify for the European Quidditch Cup, which takes place next year in Germany.
The teams competing so far are
- Dublin Draíochta Dragons Quidditch
- Northern Wyverns Quidditch from Belfast
- Galway Grindylows
The event will take place on January 20th, and they need volunteers to help ensure the event runs smoothly. And yes, this is a real thing. And if it’s anything like it is in the movies, it will be quite the occasion.
