We’re big fans of the wickedly dark Louis C.K. here at JOE headquarters and, seeing as today is the genius ginger joker’s birthday, we thought we’d mark the occasion by picking out some of our favourite C.K. comedy moments.

At this particular juncture we’d also like to give a well-deserved shout out to Louis C.K.’s parents today who, y’know, made him and stuff. We thank you for this gift.
The Mexican-American struggled as a writer and comedian for many years before becoming a father, calling his newly-born daughter an “asshole” on stage, and realising that audiences absolutely love it when you’re completely and unreservedly honest when you’re talking to them.
