JOE

Drawing on a range of styles from the footballing terraces of the ’80s to rocker and mod culture, there’s a lot to like about Weekend Offender.

Weekend Offender is a relatively new fashion brand that has only been on the market since 2004, but they’re already making waves with their range of clothing that combines influences from the worlds of music and football.

Both the terraces and the stage are represented in their range, from their t-shirts to their outerwear, which we’re fairly sure the Gallagher brothers must absolutely love. Their Autumn/Winter collection also draws on some classics of the silver screen like Clockwork Orange and Quadrophenia in particular, with much of the mod style seen in that iconic film making its way into the collection. Don’t worry though, you don’t need to own a Vespa to pull off the look.

Weekend Offender Jumper

There’s a fantastic selection of polos with contrasting collars or pockets, as well as knitwear, but this Maccabee crew top is one of the standout pieces in the collection. It’s available from Arnotts for €85 and is a perfect casual piece for the wardrobe this Autumn/Winter.

We think that we could all use a bit more wine in our lives, and not just in liquid form. It’s a colour that’s on trend for this season, and this crew top achieves the perfect tone, partnering it with some white stripes to offset it. Pair it with jeans and some stylish trainers and you’re all set for a relaxed night out watching the football with the lads.
