He’s best known for his role on Channel 4’s Misfits, yet Portlaoise man and JOE rising star Robert Sheehan has been upping his game in the style stakes too.
JOE Men of the Year nominee Robert Sheehan, who debuted in Aisling Walsh’s acclaimed feature Song for a Raggy Boy, is best known for his role as young offender Nathan from the award-winning Channel 4 series the Misfits these days.
Since this he is fast becoming the one of Ireland’s brightest young talents for the New Year. If 2010 was anything to go by, the IFTA-nominated actor’s star status is only set to soar, with upcoming roles in director Nick Hamm’s comedy Killing Bono and a supporting role in his Hollywood debut, Nicolas Cage’s Season of the Witch.

Sheehan’s tumbling dark locks, thick brow and pool-deep eyes have not only set pulses racing among hoards of teenage girls – but caught the attention of noted film-maker Pierre Debusscheres, who in a tribute to Dolce & Gobbana’s twenty years of menswear shot the dashing Irish man in his New Media released short film.
The most iconic thing about all this is that Sheenan seems utterly unaffected by the whole thing, an element reflected in his understated style. Confidently letting his Samson-esque mane loose, Sheehan will always stand out of a crowd with ease adnd it’s for this reason that the classic t-shirt and jeans look above suits him perfectly. To get the look is simple…jeans and suiting should be slim fitting but classic, experiment with t-shirt prints and shirt collars – earnest eyes and a cheeky smile are a must.
