Dub Web Fest, Fri-Sun in Filmbase, Dublin

If you have any interest in movies, storytelling or even the internet then this is the festival for you.

Dublin Web Fest brings together the movers and makers of the digital media and tech worlds to create amazing creative, collaborative opportunities.

Not only that, the festival also has a masterclasses by Irish directors and will be screening Irish and international web series all weekend.

These Charming Men, Sat, The Roisín Dubh, Galway

Fans of The Smiths can relive the heyday of Morrissey and company with one of the world’s best tribute bands in Galway this weekend. These Charming Men have been performing for 20 years and are yet to disappoint. You’ll feel like you’re back in Thatcher era Manchester… but in a good way.

The Meteor Award winning band have returned to form with their latest album, Night Becomes Light, and are set to wow the Sligo audience this Sunday in the Hawkswell Theatre. Concert goers can expect an ambient evening of great music in a terrific setting.
