Deciding to grow a moustache is the easy part - picking which style of nose tickler you're going with is the problem. Fret not, the moustache connoisseurs at JOE will guide you through all the best options.

The Pencil

Worn by - Clark Gable Difficulty level - 2/5 - The pencil is easy to grow but difficult to perfect. Some expert grooming is required and if you've a tendency to grow facial hair quicker than the average beast, there may be better options for you. Problems - It will need intense grooming to keep the cool retro look. Coolness - 3/5 - An easy option, but still a pretty cool one. It also gives a nod to 1950's Americana, which is never a bad thing.

The Handlebar

Problems - You may be mistaken for a bad ass 19th century oil baron. But that's hardly a problem now, is it? Coolness - 3.5/5 - Bold, brave and a little bit brilliant... but not the best.

The Dalí

Worn by - Salvador Dalí Difficulty level - 4/5 -You're going to need wax, time and patience for this one. Don't worry though, it will all be worth it when you're getting those stares of admiration on the bus home... those are stares of admiration, right?  Problems - Be careful not to poke passers-by in their eyes. Coolness - 3.5/5 - A controversial choice which is certainly not for everyone, but if you can pull this off you will go down as a legend among your peers.

The Chevron

Pic via: moustacheswag Worn by - Tom Selleck Difficulty level - 1/5 - Just let it grow and shave around the edges. Easy. Problems - Can one look too handsome? Coolness - 4/5 - Keeping it simple can sometimes be the best option. This is an absolute gem of a moustache.

The Horseshoe

Problems - See above. Coolness - 5/5 - This moustache is instantly recognisable and will make your face two thousand times more manly. Trust us...
