For this week’s JOE’s Juke Box, with thanks to Nissan Ireland, we’ve gone for the classic driving tune ‘Radar Love’ from the Dutch rock group, Golden Earring.
If you pick up an ‘Ultimate Driving Songs’ CD you’ll more than likely find ‘Radar Love’ from the Dutch rock group, Golden Earring, on it and rightly so, as it really is one of the ultimate driving tunes.
The reason for the song being so damn popular among petrolheads the world over is thanks to the song’s upbeat tempo and, of course, its lyrics about driving all night long. ‘Radar Love’ was originally released back in 1973, but it’s still a favourite of ours and we’re sure it is (or at least it will be) a favourite motoring tune of yours too.
It’s the perfect song to listen to when you’ve got a nice long open stretch of road ahead of you, but wherever and whenever you decide to head out in the car make sure you do it safely….
