For this instalment of JOE’s Juke Box we’ve decided to go with the hit 2003 song and theme tune to 2 Fast 2 Furious, ‘Act A Fool’, by Ludacris.
It’s hard to believe that the sequel to The Fast and the Furious, known as 2 Fast 2 Furious, was released ten years ago back in 2003. The movie featured some absolutely stunning cars (take the Nissan Skyline GTR R34, for example), some brilliant driving tunes and, of course, the late Paul Walker, who sadly lost his life earlier this week. So this one is for him…
‘Act A Fool’ was THE summer tune of 2003 and it even got a Grammy nomination, which was mainly thanks to the fact that the song was blasting out of car stereos the world over. It’s not your typical ‘classic rock driving tune’, but it’s sure to have you singing along behind the wheel.
So why not download the track on iTunes or Spotify and head out for a nice drive to nowhere and back for a little ‘you’ time. There are some great driving roads up around Blessington, but whatever you do, make sure to stay safe when you’re behind the wheel. There’s no need to actually act a fool…
