Kildare girl forced to leave Tinder after receiving these disgusting messages (NSFW)

Paul Moore

“I would like for him to realise that it’s not right to speak to any person like that”.

JOE reader Caoimhe Phillips decided to share her story with us.

“It happened a few months back and it upset me a lot, but I didn’t know whether to just leave it and forget because I even felt embarrassed over it. I decided today that people should see this because I’ve been seeing so many other posts about people abusing others on Tinder.”

Caoimhe adds “I was quite embarrassed for a long time to show it but I think now it’s him (Shane) that should be ashamed. I would just like for him to realise that it’s not right to speak to any person like that, so I’m hoping he’d see it in an article by you guys.

“Thank you, it feels silly to admit now but those messages left me in tears and I left Tinder for good after that, so it angered me a little to think I was left feeling that way while he just went on probably messaging others like that.

“Hopefully other boys who do the same will see it and realise that it’s not ok to talk like this.”

Here is the conversation in full but it’s important to note that some of the language used is very strong.

It’s very likely that you know someone that has used Tinder; the dating app is incredibly popular with Irish people that are looking to meet a potential partner.

There are some very happy couples that met via Tinder and the majority of its users are decent and well mannered people.

Unfortunately, as is the norm with the majority of online conversations where people think that they’re not accountable for their words, some people refuse to adhere to the basic principles of decency, manners or acceptable behaviour.
